Participant Guidelines
Tables are intended for use by the applicant only.
All products sold by the participant must have been created by them and identified in the application.
Cancellation
Please notify the coordinator if you are unable to participate in the fair. The table fees are non-refundable.
Tables/Display Area
The table is 8’ x 3’ and you will have an extra 3' behind your table, please keep your display within the 8’ x 6 ' limit. If you have special display requirements (backdrops, shelving, etc.) or need to be near a door, please let us know so that we can try and accommodate you. Each table will have a skirt and tablecloth provided. There are plenty of plug-ins for electricity, but please remember to bring you own extension cords and extra lighting systems (if needed). Past participants are not guaranteed the same location in the room as in previous years.
Set-Up
Unloading and set up will take place from 7 to 10:15 am. Displays have to be ready at 10:15 am.
Bags
Created in the Yukon gift bags and price tags are available at the Yukon Chamber of Commerce at 101-307 Jarvis Street.
Identification
Name tags will be provided. Remember to bring business cards.
Sales
Artists are responsible for their own sale transactions and should bring sufficient float. Remember to bring a receipt book.
Food & Break
The Northern Fibres Guild will bring you a snack bag in the morning to keep you going. Lunch is not provided but the hotel restaurant will be open for take-out lunches. The Northern Fibres Guild volunteers will be available to give you a bathroom break on request.
Wrap-Up
Wrap-up will be happening between 4 pm and 6 pm. Not before!
Survey
The coordinator will e-mail a questionnaire after the fair. Please take time to fill it out and pass on your recommendations to the Northern Fibres Guild for future fairs. Your opinions and advices are valuable and appreciated!
